J. Hebberd, P.E. Deputy Commissioner
Chris Hebberd is the Deputy Commissioner of Watershed Management for the Bureau of Engineering Services. Appointed to this position in January 2006, Mr. Hebberd has over 30 years of experience managing the engineering and operating functions of water utilities. He has formerly served as Chief Operating Officer for Erie (PA.) Water Works; and as Vice President – Operations and Engineering for Regional Water Authority in New Haven, CT where he managed the day-to day operations of both utilities.
Mr. Hebberd graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a degree in Civil Engineering and has earned a certificate in Management Development from the Harvard University School of Business. He is a professional engineer in Georgia and several other states in the U.S.
