City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management and the Georgia Department of Transportation
to Perform Maintenance at Briarcliff Road NE and Ponce De Leon Avenue NE

Underground construction work may result in temporary interruption of water service east of Briarcliff Road

Who: The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management (DWM) and Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

What: DWM and GDOT will perform underground construction work for sewer and water main rehabilitation which may result in temporary interruption of water service for customers located along Ponce De Leon Avenue NE and S. Ponce De Leon Avenue SE, east of Briarcliff Road NE to the City of Atlanta limits.

Out of an abundance of caution, DWM is notifying all customers, critical facilities and businesses to be prepared for potential interruption in water service over the course of construction.

When: Maintenance work will begin on Friday, July 19, 2019, at 9 p.m. and continue until Saturday, July 20, 2019, at 4 p.m. During this time, the intersection of Ponce De Leon Ave NE and Briarcliff Rd NE will be closed to traffic.
