Lane Closure Extended at 956 Washington Place SW between Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW and Paschal Blvd NW
due to Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Assessment and Cleaning of Stormwater Infrastructure

 

What: Lane closure due to CCTV assessment and cleaning of storm drains

Where: One southbound lane will be closed at 956 Washington Place SW

When: Tuesday, March 26 – Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

 

Comments: Department of Watershed Management has contracted crews to perform closed circuit television (CCTV) work to inspect, clean and assess the current conditions of the stormwater system on existing stormwater lines located at 956 Washington Place SW between Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW and Paschal Blvd. NW. The lane closure will also affect the following streets: TP Burruss Senior Drive SW, Drummond Street SW, Beckwith Street SW, Palmetto Street SW, New Castle Street SW and Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. SW. The remaining work will continue at the intersection of Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW

Work began on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 and will continue through Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The right lane will be closed intermittently traveling northbound and then southbound.

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling near the work zone.
