Road Closure near 1100 Canter RD. NE due to Sewer Main Line Repair Construction

What: Full Road Closure due to Sewer Main Line Repair Construction.

Where: Canter Rd. between Merick Dr. NE and West Roxboro Rd. NE

When: Monday, April 10, 2023, lasting approximately two to four weeks, weather permitting. Operational Hours for crew members are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments:

Crews will be performing sewer main repair construction. Traffic control measures and signage are in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents, business owners, employees and customers will still have access to their homes and businesses. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Detour:

Canter road will be closed from 1100 Canter Road to West Roxboro Road NE. Motorists traveling north on West Roxboro NE will need to turn right on Roxboro Dr. NE and then right on Towerview Drive to access Canter Road. Motorists traveling east on Canter Road NE will need to turn right on Towerview Drive NE and then turn left on Roxboro Dr. NE to access West Roxboro Road NE.
