Comments: Crews will repair the existing sewer main system requiring the closure of Bates Avenue SE between Hosea Williams and Oakview Road. Work began Monday, August 26, 2019 and will last approximately two weeks, weather permitting. The road will reopen when construction is complete.

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents who park their vehicles on the street will need to find alternative parking. Residents will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Detour: Traveling westbound on Oakview Road, turn right on 1st Avenue, then left on Hosea L Williams Drive toward Oakview Road.

Traveling southbound on Bates Avenue, turn left or right on Hosea L. Williams toward Oakview Road.
