24-Hour Road Closure near 237 Vine St. NW due to Storm Water Capacity Relief Construction

What: 24-hour road closure due to storm water capacity relief construction

Where: Near 237 Vine St. NW between Thurmond St. NW and Spencer St. NW

When: Monday, August 30, 2021, lasting approximately four – five weeks, weather permitting. Operational Hours for crew members are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments: Crews will be performing storm water capacity relief construction. Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Business owners and their staff will continue to have access to their respective businesses near the work zone. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.

Detours: 24-hour road closure to all through traffic on Vine St. NW between Thurmond St. NW and Spencer St. NW. Motorists headed North on Vine St. NW will be redirected to turn right to head West on Spencer St. NW, then turn left to head North on Walnut St. NW towards Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW.
