Comments: Crews are actively replacing the existing sewer line resulting in an emergency road closure on Sunset Avenue between Spencer Street and Foundry Street and on Sunset Avenue between Joseph E Boone and Thurmond Street. The road closure will start Thursday, December 5, 2019 and will last approximately three weeks, weather permitting. The road will reopen when construction is complete.

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents who park their vehicles on the street will need to find alternative parking. Residents will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick- up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Traveling eastbound on Joseph E Boone, turn right on Elm Street, right on Spencer Street, then left on Sunset Avenue.
