Comments: Crews will realign the existing sewer main which requires the closure of three north bound lanes on Marietta Blvd SW between West Marietta Street NW and Rice Street NW. Work will begin Monday, December 16, 2019 and will last approximately twelve months, weather permitting. Lane closures will remain in place for the duration of the project.

Traffic control measures and police officers will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents and businesses who park their vehicles on the street will need to find alternative parking. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Suggested Detour: Traveling northbound on Marietta Blvd, turn right on Jefferson Street, left on Joseph E Lowery Blvd, then left on West Marietta Street.
