Temporary 24-hour Road Closure due to Sewer Mainline Rehabilitation near 1708 Pine Trail SE (Fayetteville Rd. SE) between Pine Trail SE and Fay St. SE (Dekalb County)
What: Temporary 24-hour road closure due to Sewer Mainline Rehabilitation
Where: 1708 Pine Trail SE (Fayetteville Rd. SE) between Pine Trail SE and Fay St. SE (Dekalb County)
When: Monday, December 9, 2024, until December 20, 2024, weather permitting. Operational Hours are Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Comments: Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. If businesses, schools, and places of worship are near the work zone, they will continue to be accessible. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. The community will still be accessible regarding mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.
Detour:
Motorists on Fayetteville Rd. SE on the Fay St. SE side of the road closure will be guided to use Glenwood Ave. SE & 2nd Ave. SE to access Flat Shoals Rd. SE.
Motorists on Fayetteville Rd. SE on the Pine Trail SE side of the road closure will be guided to use Flat Shoals Rd. SE and 2nd Ave. SE to access Glenwood Ave. SE.
Residents of the community will be allowed to enter & exit accordingly.
