24-Hour Road Closure Near 781 North Ave. NW Due The Installation of a New Sewer Main Pipe

What: 24-hour road closure due to install a sewer main at 781 North Ave NW

Where: Near 781 North Ave NW, and between 781 North Ave NW English Ave NW and James P Brawley Dr NW.

When: Monday, February 21, 2022, lasting approximately four to six weeks, weather permitting. Operational Hours for crew members are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments: Crews will install a sewer main at 781 North Ave NW Traffic control measures and signage are in place to guide motorists around the work zone.

Residents, business owners, employees and customers will still have access to their homes and businesses. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pickup. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Detour: North Ave. NW will be closed to all through traffic near 781 North Ave. NW between English Ave. NW and James P. Brawley Dr. NW. Motorists traveling East on North Ave. NW will be routed to turn left on English Ave. NW and then turn right on Pelham St. NW towards James P. Brawley Dr. NW. Turn right or left on James P. Brawley Dr. NW to end detour. Motorists traveling West on North Ave. NW will be routed to turn right on James P. Brawley Dr. NW and then turn left on Pelham St. NW towards English Ave. NW. Turn right or left on English Ave. NW to end detour.
