Temporary Road Closure near 257 Casson St. NE due to Sewer Mainline Rehabilitation Construction

What: Temporary road closure due to sewer mainline rehabilitation construction

Where: 257 Casson St. NE between New York Ave. NE and Dekalb Ave. NE

When: Tuesday, February 27, 2024, lasting approximately three – four weeks, weather permitting. Operational hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments:

Traffic control measures are in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses near the work zone will continue to be accessible.

Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. The community will continue to be accessible regarding mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.

Detour:

Motorists traveling on Dekalb Ave. NE to New York Ave. NE will turn left or right onto Connecticut Ave. NE heading towards New York Ave. NE, ending the detour.
