Location: 97 10th Street NE between Crescent Ave. and Juniper St. NE 

Date & Duration: Beginning Tuesday, February 24, 2026, a 24-hour road closure will be in effect. The work is expected to continue for approximately one week, weather permitting. Construction will occur Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Details: As part of compliance with a regulatory consent order, emergency sewer repairs will be conducted. In addition, existing sewer mains will be removed and replaced to repair defects, and the sewer system’s capacity will be increased. 

Traffic Control: Traffic control measures and signage are in place to safely guide motorists around the work zone. Residents and businesses within the work area will maintain access to homes, mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash collection. Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution, follow posted detours, and avoid the area when possible. Alternative parking will be required for vehicles typically parked on the street. 

Detours: Motorists traveling westbound on 10th Street NE – Turn left on Juniper Street NE., right on 8th Street NE, right on W Peachtree St NW., and left on 10th St NE. 

Motorists traveling northbound on Peachtree Street NE – Turn right on 10th Street NE., left on Piedmont Avenue NE., left on 14th Street NE., and right on Peachtree Street NE. 

Motorists traveling southbound on Peachtree Street NE – Turn left on 11th Street NE., right on Juniper Street NE., right on 8th Street NE., and left on Peachtree Street NE.
