Location:  Ormond St. SE between Hank Aaron Drive SW and Fraser Street SE

Date & Duration:  Work will continue Thursday, February 12, 2026, through March 6, 2026, weather permitting. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The road will be plated and reopened between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. every night for the duration of the closure.      

Traffic Control:  Traffic control measures and signage are in place to safely guide motorists around the work zone. Residents and businesses within the work area will maintain access to homes, mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash collection.

Parking Driveways will be accessible from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. No parking will be allowed on the north side of the street.

Property owners will be notified in advance of any periods with limited driveway access. Residents traveling westbound on Ormond Street SE will still be able to access driveways within the closure area, and construction crews will assist residents with safe passage through the work zone as needed.

Contractor crews will also coordinate directly with property owners to facilitate planned driveway exits during work hours, with access routed to either Hank Aaron Drive or Fraser Street.

Detour: Ingress- May drive the right way on Ormond (West bound) to access their driveways through closure area. Crew will facilitate movement through work area for residents only.

Egress- Residents are requested to coordinate with onsite crew and management to facilitate planned exit from their driveways during work hours. Based upon the day’s work location, onsite personnel will direct residents through barricades to either Hank Aaron Dr or Fraser St.
