Temporary Road Closure near 645 Oakdale Rd. NE due to Sewer Main Line Replacement

What: Temporary Road closure due to pipe bursting to sewer main line

Where: Near 645 Oakdale Rd. NE between the intersection of North Ave. NE and Fairview Rd. NE

When: Monday, January 8, 2024, for approximately four – six weeks, weather permitting. Operational hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments:

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists

around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses near the work zone will continue to be accessible.

Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. The community will continue to be accessible regarding mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.

Detour: Motorists traveling West on North Ave. NE will turn right on Moreland Ave. NE and then turn right onto Fairview Rd. NE towards Oakdale Rd. NE to regain access to Oakdale Rd. NE, ending the detour.
