Location: 1159 Peachtree Battle Ave. NW between Bohler Rd. NW & Peachtree Battle Circle NW. 

Date & Duration: Work started Tuesday, January 27, 2026, and will continue through Friday March 27, 2026, weather permitting. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; however, the roadway will remain closed 24-hours a day for the duration of the work. 

Details: As part of compliance with a regulatory consent order, emergency sewer repairs will be conducted, existing sewer mains will be removed and replaced to repair defects and increase the sewer system’s capacity. 

Traffic Control: Traffic control measures and signage are in place to safely guide motorists around the work zone. Residents and businesses within the work area will maintain access to homes, mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash collection. 

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution, follow posted detours, and avoid the area when possible. Alternative parking may be required for vehicles typically parked on the street. 

Detour: Motorists traveling eastbound on Peachtree Battle Ave. NW will turn left onto Bohler Rd NW. Once at the intersection of W. Wesley Rd NW and Bohler Rd NW, take a right. Head east on W. Wesley Rd NW. After reaching the intersection of Howell Mill Rd NW, take a right and head south towards Peachtree Battle Ave. NW. 

Motorists traveling westbound on Peachtree Battle Ave. NW will turn right onto Howell Mill Rd NW. Head north and take a left onto W. Wesley Rd MW. Once at the intersection of W. Wesley Rd NW and Bohler Rd NW, take another left. This will lead south back to Peachtree Battle Ave NW.
