24-Hour Road Closure near 1137 Fair St. SW due to Storm Water Line Construction

What: 24-hour road closure due to storm water line construction

Where: Near 1137 Fair St. SW. between 1st St. SW and Rosser St. SW

When: Wednesday, August 10, 2022, and lasting approximately one – two months, weather permitting. Operational hours for the crew members will be Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments: Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses and the school near the work zone will continue to be accessible. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. Residents, businesses, and the school will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.

Detour: Fair St. NW will be closed to through traffic between 1st St. SW and Rosser St. SW.

Motorists traveling East on Fair St. SW will turn right onto 1st St. SW towards Westview Dr. SW and turn left heading towards Lawton St. SW. Turn left onto Lawton St. SW towards Fair St. SW and turn right onto Fair St. SW to continue traveling East.

Motorists traveling West on Fair St. SW will turn left onto Rosser St. SW towards Westview Dr. SW and turn right heading towards 1st St. SW. Turn right onto 1st St. SW towards Fair St. and turn left onto Fair St. SW to continue traveling West.
