Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. If businesses, schools, and places of worship are near the work zone, they will continue to be accessible. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. The community will still be accessible regarding mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible. 

Detour: Motorists Traveling from Mathews Ave. NE to New York Ave. NE (North): Will travel on North Ave. NE (West) and take a right (North) onto Moreland Ave. NE then will take a Right (East) to Fairview Rd. NE. 

Motorists traveling from Mathews Ave. NE to New York Ave. NE (South): Will travel on Fairview Rd. NE (West), then take a left (South) onto Moreland Ave. NE, then take a left (East) onto North Ave. NE.
