Temporary Lane Closure near the intersection of Northside Dr. NW & Thurmond St. NW

Storm Water Line Installation Construction

What: Lane closures (shifting) due to storm water line installation construction

Where: Near intersection of Northside Dr. NW & Thurmond St. NW (Georgia World Congress Center; Building C)

When: Tuesday, July 5, 2022, and lasting approximately four – six weeks, weather permitting. Operational hours for the crew members will be Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (daily) and 7 p.m. – 4:30 a.m. (overnight)

Comments: Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses near the work zone will continue to have access to their respective businesses. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. Residents, businesses, and places of worship will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.
