24-Hour Road Closure near 1061 Fair St. SW due to Storm Water Line Construction

What: 24-hour road closure due to storm water line construction

Where: Near 1061 Fair St. SW. between Lawton St. SW and St. Jose St. SW

When: Tuesday, June 21, 2022, and last approximately three months, weather permitting. Operational hours for the crew members will be Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments: Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses and the school near the work zone will continue to be accessible. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. Residents, businesses, and the school will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.

Detour: Fair St. NW will be closed to through traffic between Lawton St. SW and St. Jose St. SW.

Motorists traveling East on Fair St. SW
Turn left onto Lawton St. SW towards Ashby Grove SW and turn right onto Ashby Grove SW heading towards St. Jose St. SW. Turn right onto St. Jose St. SW towards Fair St. SW and turn left onto Fair St. SW to continue traveling East.

Motorists traveling West on Fair St. SW
Turn right onto St. Jose St. SW towards Ashby Grove SW and turn left onto Ashby Grove SW heading towards Lawton St. SW. Turn right onto Lawton St. SW towards Fair St. and turn right onto Fair St. SW to continue traveling West.
