Extended Lane Closure on Peachtree Street NE Due to Water Main Tie-Ins

What: Lane closure due water main tie-ins

Where: One northbound lane on Peachtree Street NE

When: Friday, June 11, through Friday, 18, 2021, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Comments: Crews will continue the tie in and extension of the water main near the intersection of Peachtree Street NE and 8th Street NE, requiring the closure of the northbound lane. Work will continue Monday June 14, through Friday, June 18, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists and pedestrians around the work zone. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to emergency services, mail and package delivery, and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.
