Temporary Road Closure Near 1802 and 1867 Defoor Ave. NW due to Sewer Service Laterals Construction

What: Temporary Road closure due to sewer service laterals construction

Where: Near 1802 and 1867 Defoor Ave. NW between Collier Rd. NW and Howell Mill Rd. NW

When: Tuesday, June 13, 2023, for approximately two – four weeks, weather permitting. Operational hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments:

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses and places of worship near the work zone will continue to be accessible. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. Access regarding mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up will continue. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.

Detour:

Motorists traveling southbound will take a right on Collier Rd. NW, left on Chattahoochee Ave. NW, left on Howell Mill Rd. NW, towards Defoor Ave. NW ending detour. Motorists traveling northbound will take a right on Howell Mill Rd., left on Collier Rd. NW towards Defoor Ave. NW ending the detour.
