Road Closure near 246 Pineland Rd. NW due to Sewer Main Line Repair Construction

What: Full Road Closure due to sewer main line repair construction.

Where: Pineland Rd. NW between Powers Ferry Rd. NW and Northside Dr. NW.

When: Monday, March 20, 2023, lasting approximately six weeks, weather permitting. Operational hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments:

Traffic control measures and signage are in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents, business owners, employees, and customers will still have access to homes and businesses. Alternative parking is required for vehicles usually parked on the street. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Detour:

Pineland Rd. NW will be closed to through traffic between Powers Ferry Rd. NW. and Northside Dr. NW.

Motorists traveling East on Pineland Rd. NW. will be redirected to turn right onto King Rd. NW towards Tuxedo Rd. NW. Turn left traveling East on Tuxedo Rd. NW. towards Powers Ferry Rd. NW. to end the detour.

Motorists traveling West on Pineland Rd. NW. will be redirected to turn left onto King Rd. NW towards Tuxedo Rd. NW. Turn right traveling North on Tuxedo Rd. NW towards Blackland Rd. NW. Turn right traveling West on Blackland Rd. NW towards Northside Dr. NW to end the detour.

All homeowners on Tuxedo Rd. NW. will be able to access their property from Powers Ferry Rd. NW. and Northside Dr NW. The road will be opened after 4:00 PM each working day to all traffic.
