Road Closure near 1771 Marvin St. NW due to Sewer Main Line Repair Construction

What: Full Road Closure due to Sewer Main Line Repair Construction.

Where: Marvin St. NW between Harper St NW and Defoor Ave. NW.

When: Thursday, April 6, 2023, lasting approximately two to four weeks, weather permitting. Operational Hours for crew members are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments:

Crews will be performing sewer main repair construction. Traffic control measures and signage are in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents, business owners, employees and customers will still have access to their homes and businesses. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. Residents and businesses will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Detour:

Marvin Street will be closed to through traffic at 1771 Marvin Street NW. Motorists will have to travel down Springer Street NW or Defoor Avenue NW to get to Harper Street NW.
