24-Hour Road Closure near 2274 Oakview Rd. NE due to Storm Water Drain Construction

What: 24-Hour Road Closure due to Storm Water Drain Construction

Where: Near 2274 Oakview Rd. NE between the intersection of Oakview Rd. NE/Hosea L. Williams Dr. NE and Ridgedale Rd. NE

When: Monday, November 29, 2021, lasting approximately four to five weeks, weather permitting. Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments: Crews are performing storm water drain construction.

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. Residents will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.

Detour: The Southbound Lane (one-way street) of Oakview Rd. NE will be closed to through traffic between Hosea L. Williams Dr. NE and Ridgedale Rd. NE.

Motorists traveling South on Oakview Rd. NE will be routed onto Ridgedale Rd. NE traveling West towards Lakeview Dr. NE. Turn left onto Lakeview Dr. NE traveling South to Hosea L. Williams Dr. NE where motorists may turn left or right.

The Northbound Lane of Oakview Rd. NE (one-way street) will remain open to motorists.
