Road Closure near 550 Magnolia St. NW due to Stormwater Piping & Manholes Construction

What: Road closure due to stormwater piping & manholes construction

Where: Near 550 Magnolia St. NW between Walnut St. NW and Maple St. NW

When: Monday, November 7, 2022, lasting approximately four weeks, weather permitting. Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Comments: Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses near the work zone will continue to have access to their respective businesses. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. Residents and churches will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.

Detour: Magnolia St. NW will be closed to through traffic between Walnut St. NW and Maple St. NW.

Motorists attempting to travel West on Magnolia St. NW will be routed to turn left on Electric Ave. NW heading towards Rhodes St. NW, then turn right on Rhodes St. NW towards Vine St. NW. Turn right onto Vine St. NW towards Magnolia St. NW to end the detour.

Motorists traveling East on Magnolia St. NW will be routed to turn right on Vine St. NW, then turn left on Rhodes St. NW towards Electric Ave. NW. Turn left onto Electric Ave. NW heading towards Magnolia St. NW to end the detour. Through traffic for residents on Magnolia St. NW will be accommodated.
