TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Temporary Road Closure near 2151-2113 McKinley Rd. NW due to Sewer and Water Main Line Replacement – Extended Timeframe
What: Temporary Road closure due to sewer and water main line replacement
Where: Near 2151-2113 McKinley Rd. NW between Northside Dr. NW and Howell Mill Rd. NW
When: Friday December 1, 2023, for approximately four – eight weeks, weather permitting. Operational hours are Monday – Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Comments:
Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses near the work zone will continue to be accessible.
Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. The community will continue to be accessible regarding mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.
Detour:
Motorists traveling North on Northside Dr. will turn left onto Norfleet Rd. NW to access Howell Mill Rd. NW. Motorists traveling South on Northside Dr. will turn left onto Norfleet Rd. NW to access Howell Mill Rd. NW.
Motorists traveling South on Howell Mill Rd. NW will turn left onto Norfleet Rd. NW to access Northside Dr. NW. Motorists traveling North on Howell Mill Rd. NW will turn right onto Norfleet Rd. NW to access Northside Dr. NW.
