Temporary Road Closure due to Sewer Mainline Rehabilitation near 1981 Brannen Rd. SE between Cecilia Dr. SE and Diane Ct. SE (Dekalb County)
What: Temporary Road closure due to Sewer Mainline Rehabilitation
Where: 1981 Brannen Rd. SE between Cecilia Dr. SE and Diane Ct. SE (Dekalb County)
When: Monday, December 2, 2024, until December 20, 2024, weather permitting. Operational Hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Comments: Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. If businesses, schools, and places of worship are near the work zone, they will continue to be accessible. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. The community will still be accessible regarding mail and package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.
Detour:
Motorists on Bouldercrest Rd. SE traveling towards Brannen Rd. SE will be guided towards Fayetteville Rd. SE heading towards Flat Shoals Rd. SE. The secondary detour allows neighborhood traffic to use Cecilia Dr. SE. The primary detour includes Fayetteville Rd. SE, Flat Shoals Rd. SE, and Gresham Rd. SE.
Motorists traveling on Gresham Rd. SE traveling towards Brannen Rd. SE will be guided towards Flat Shoals Rd. SE. The secondary detour allows neighborhood traffic to use Flagstone Dr. SE and Vicki Ln. SE Residents of the community will be allowed to enter & exit accordingly.
