Comments: Crews will repair the existing sewer main which requires the closure of Hosea L. Williams Drive SE between 2nd Avenue and Oakview Road SE. Work will start Monday, October 28, 2019 and will last approximately four weeks, weather permitting. The road will reopen when construction is complete.

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents who park their vehicles on the street will need to find alternative parking. Residents will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Detour: 

Traveling westbound on Hosea L. Williams – Turn right on 2nd Avenue, right on Cottage Grove, then right on Oakview Road to Hosea L. Williams Dr.

Traveling eastbound on Hosea L. Williams – turn right on Oakview, left on Cottage Grove, then left on 2nd Ave. to Hosea L. Williams.

Traveling northbound on 1st Avenue – Turn right on Cottage Grove, left on 2ndAvenue, then left on Northern Street to 1st Avenue.
