24-Hour Road Closure near 628 Spencer St. NW due to Storm Water Piping & Manholes Construction
What: 24-Hour Road Closure due to Storm Water Piping & Manholes Construction
Where: Near 628 Spencer St. NW (Vine St. NW)
When: Monday, October 11, 2021, lasting approximately four to five weeks, weather permitting. Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Comments: Crews are performing storm water piping & manholes Construction.
Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents residing in and near the work zone will continue to have access to their homes. Businesses near the work zone will continue to have access to their respective businesses. Alternative parking will be needed for vehicles usually parked in the street. Residents and churches will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Upon entering the work zone for any reason, please proceed with caution, and avoid the area if possible.
Detour: 24-hour road closure to all through traffic on Spencer St. NW between Vine St. NW and Graves St. NW.
Traffic heading East on Spencer St. NW, traffic will be redirected to turn left to head North on Vine St. NW, then turn right to head East on Thurmond St. NW, then turn right to head South on Walnut St. NW.
Traffic heading West on Spencer St. NW will be redirected to turn left to head South on Walnut St. NW, then turn right to head West on Foundry St. NW, then turn right to head North on Vine St. NW.
