Comments: Crews will replace the existing sewer line requiring the closure of Oakview Road between 1st Avenue and the intersection of Hosea L. Williams. Work will begin Thursday, September 19, 2019 and will last approximately five weeks, weather permitting. The road will reopen when construction is complete.

Traffic control measures will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents who park their vehicles on the street will need to find alternative parking. Residents will continue to have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.

Detour: Traveling westbound on Oakview Road NE turn right on 1st Avenue NE, then turn left on Lakeview Drive NE toward Hosea L. Williams Drive NE.

Traveling eastbound on Ridgedale Road, turn right on Lakeview Drive NE, then left on Hosea L. Williams Drive NE.
