 What: 24-hour emergency road closure due to valve replacement work 

Where: 6th Street NE between W Peachtree Street NW and Cypress Street NE 

When: Monday, September 22, thru Friday, October 3, 2025, 24-hour. Work hours will be from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. 

Comments: Traffic control measures and signs are in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Residents and businesses within the work zone will continue to have access to their homes, mail, package delivery, emergency services, and trash pick-up. Motorists are urged to use caution and avoid the area if possible. 

Detour: Traveling westbound on 6th Street NE, turn right on Cypress Street NE, turn left on 7th Street NE, left on W. Peachtree Street NW, and right on Biltmore Place NW.
