DWM to Conduct Test Shutdown on 24-Inch Water Main in College Park

What: DWM crews will conduct a test shut down as part of an evaluation of the water system. This work is being done to ensure operations of valves that turn the water on and off are working properly in the drinking water system. These valves may need to be repaired and/or replaced to improve drinking water services.

Where: 5137 Sullivan Rd., College Park, GA between Riverdale Rd. and Airport Loop Rd.

When: Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 11 p.m. through Thursday, January 11, 2024, to 11 p.m. weather permitting.

Comments: Residents should not experience an interruption of water service while the test shut down is being conducted. There will be no decrease in water capacity and pressure.
