ATLANTA – DWM crews have been working aggressively around the clock to address a water main break at Joseph E. Boone Blvd & J.P. Brawley Dr. Repairs have started on the main breaks at the intersection of West Peachtree St. and 11th St. 

Crews will work through the night to repair a water main on West Peachtree St. and 11th St. West Peachtree St. is closed between 10th & 12th St. while the work occurs. Traffic control measures are in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Motorists and pedestrians should avoid the area. 

If you are an Atlanta resident in need of water, please visit one of four designated AFRD fire stations: 

• Station 1 – 71 Elliott Street 
• Station 2 – 1568 Jonesboro Rd. 
• Station 10 – 447 Boulevard 
• Station 16 – 1048 Joseph E. Boone Blvd.
