The Policy and Intergovernmental Affairs team is responsible for planning, drafting and coordinating legislative, regulatory and strategic initiatives on behalf of the Department to address issues at the municipal, state and national levels. The Director serves as the Council liaison and coordinates with the Mayor’s Office of Legislative Affairs, other municipalities, regulatory agencies, and national and regional industry organizations to guide policy decisions that are in the City’s best interest.
