TRAFFIC ADVISORY

24-Hour Lane Closure on Northside Drive NW for Storm Drainage Repairs and Paving

 

 

Location: 3111 Northside Drive NW between 3131 Northside Drive NW and Northside Parkway NW 

Date & Duration: Friday, July 31, 2026, through Friday, September 11, 2026, weather permitting. Operational hours are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Details: 24-hour road closure for storm drainage repairs and roadway paving 

Traffic Control: Traffic control measures will be in place to safely guide motorists through and around the work zone. Residents will continue to have access to their homes, and nearby businesses, schools, and places of worship will remain accessible throughout construction. 

On-street parking within the work zone may be temporarily restricted, and residents may need to use alternative parking during active construction. Mail and package delivery, trash collection, and emergency services will continue as scheduled. 

For your safety, please use caution when traveling through the area and follow all posted traffic control signs and directions from construction personnel. Whenever possible, consider using alternate routes to avoid delays. 

Detours: Motorists traveling south on Northside Dr. NW should turn right onto Moores Mill Rd. NW. Continue to Northside Parkway NW (US-41) and turn left to bypass the closure and resume their normal route. 

Motorists traveling north on Northside Parkway NW (US-41) should continue north and turn right onto Moores Mill Rd. NW. Continue on Moores Mill Rd. NW and follow posted detour signs to reconnect with Northside Dr. NW and resume your normal route. 

Motorists traveling west on Moores Mill Rd. NW should turn left onto Northside Parkway NW (US-41). Continue south on Northside Parkway NW and follow posted detour signs to reconnect with Northside Dr. NW beyond the work zone.
