The DWM Office of Water Treatment andReclamation (OWTR) recently received 2021 Gold Awards from the Georgia Associationof Water Professionals (GAWP)!

The Chattahoochee and Hemphill Water Treatment Plants received Drinking Water Facility Gold Awards, and the Utoy Creek Water Reclamation Center obtained the Wastewater Gold Facility Award. Each award
recognizes the Department of Watershed Management’s drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities for having no permit violations in the 2021 calendar year for Maximum Containment Levels (MCLs) and the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination (NPDES).
