UPDATE


Boil Water Advisory Remains in Effect
for Customers in South Fulton and Fairburn

 

ATLANTA – Due to an internal power failure at the Adamsville Pump Station, the facility experienced a temporary loss of electrical service, resulting in low water pressure in impacted areas. 

Impacted Areas 

As a precaution and in accordance with public health guidance, a boil water advisory has been issued for impacted areas in South Fulton and Fairburn. Residents should refer to published maps to confirm impacted locations. Please see the Public Alerts Map. 

What Residents Should Do 

Customers within impacted areas should boil all water used for: 

  • Drinking 
  • Cooking 
  • Brushing teeth 
  • Making ice 
  • Food preparation 

Water should be boiled for at least one minute past a rolling boil. 

Current Status 

Power has been restored at the Adamsville Pump Station. DWM crews continue to monitor system operations and are conducting water quality testing.
