UPDATE 2
Boil Water Advisory Still In Effect for City of South Fulton and Fairburn
ATLANTA – The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management (DWM) experienced a temporary loss of electrical service at the Adamsville Pump Station due to an internal power failure. This disruption resulted in low water pressure in portions of the system.
While power has been restored and the facility is now fully operational, a boil water advisory remains in effect for impacted areas. As part of standard protocol, DWM deployed crews for water quality sampling. The advisory is expected to be lifted by 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, pending confirmation results.
DWM remains committed to protecting the safety and well-being of its customers and appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this time.
